Lauren Pasqua, PsyD
Owner and founder of MindSpace Wellness
My passion is to help therapists identify their ideal client and to build the practice they dream of.
A Little About Me
When I’m not coaching or running my practice, I’m a mom to three bright and spirited kids and the wife of a wonderfully supportive partner. As a family, we love being active outdoors—whether it’s biking, hiking, or walking our dog. I’m also an avid reader, with a love for science fiction, fantasy, and anything that inspires creative thinking.
As a leader, I believe in making people feel seen and valued while holding them accountable for growth. It’s a philosophy I bring into my work with therapists, helping them build confidence as business owners and leaders.
Who I Work With
I coach therapists at all stages of their journey:
New Practice Owners: Learn the fundamentals of launching a private practice that thrives.
Established Therapists: Refine your systems, grow your niche, or tackle challenges like inconsistent revenue or burnout.
Group Practice Owners: Build a collaborative, growth-focused team while balancing leadership and clinical work.
Let’s Build the Practice You Deserve
Your practice has the potential to change lives—not just for your clients, but for you, too. Let’s work together to create a business that aligns with your values, serves your community, and supports your personal and professional goals.
“But, after six years of individual practice, I realized something was missing – a sense of community. Private practice can be really lonely and I missed having a team to lean on and grow with.”
Hi, I’m Dr. Lauren Pasqua, a psychologist, business owner, and private practice coach passionate about helping therapists like you create businesses that are sustainable, impactful, and aligned with your personal values. Whether you’re just starting out, growing a group practice, or refining your niche, I’m here to help you turn your vision into a reality.
In 2012, I was a freshly licensed psychologist and had just relocated to Texas. I joined a local therapist collective and started my own private practice. It grew quickly into a fully private pay practice and before long I had a waitlist. I attribute that growth to learning all I could about marketing and doing things other therapists weren’t focused on yet. But, after six years of individual practice, I realized something was missing – a sense of community. Private practice can be really lonely and I missed having a team to lean on and grow with.
I took a leap and established my own group practice, Connections Child & Family Center, hoping to build a culture focused on collaboration and mutual support. I expanded into training, supervising, and growing leaders within my group. As the founder of now three successful businesses, I’ve grown a practice from a solo venture to a thriving group serving families across Texas. Most recently, I’ve expanded my work to include an integrated perinatal mental health program, aiming to create a comprehensive wellness center for mothers and families.
Recently, I’ve noticed that getting into private practice is tough for many. It costs a lot, and even though seeing clients has been easier since the shift to telehealth, it’s still tough to figure out how to start and run your own business. Renting space to see clients feels risky, when the success of their practice is unknown. Using what I learned from my group practice, I wanted to help more than just my team. That's when Mindspace Wellness was born.
Offering affordable access to therapy space alongside community feels like a natural extension of what I've already achieved in my group practice. Sharing my knowledge and experience through trainings and coaching is also a passion.
I’ve walked the journey you’re on—and I know the challenges you face. My coaching is rooted in the real-world strategies and insights I’ve used to grow my own practice—and I’m here to help you do the same.
I especially love helping therapists express themselves through marketing. It's not just about doing the work; it's about letting people know what makes you special. I want clinicians to have a flexible and fulfilling life. Mindspace Wellness is about helping you enjoy your work and have the freedom to live life to the fullest.
